Christopher (Chris) J Wright can best be described as a "Human Performance Optimization Catalyst."  He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® and a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLPTM) with over twenty (20) years of project leadership, mentoring, consulting, and learning and development experience.  Mr. Wright specializes in maximizing human capital performance through optimally aligned adult learning systems. Mr. Wright’s primary strengths and proven expertise are in the following areas:

Chris is Founder, President, and Managing Principal of Tanden LLC, a human and organizational performance optimization firm based in Raleigh, NC.  Tanden is in the business of helping organizations successfully reach their desired project delivery goals and maximizing efficiencies through relevant and targeted adult learning programs.   Tanden provides learning and development, project management and leadership consulting services in the areas of knowledge and skill development, strategic and project planning, and leadership coaching and mentoring.  While at Tanden, Mr. Wright has worked with organizations in many different industries including: Health/Hospital Care, Crop Science, Financial Services, Department of Defense, Consumer Retail, Food and Beverage, Consumer Food and Beverage Products, City and State Governments, Higher Education, Wireless Telecommunications, and Information Technology.

Prior to Tanden, Chris worked with Ericsson's Global Services division leading cutting edge wireless data/Internet projects while providing clients with expertise in project mentoring, leadership, and education services.  Specific engagements included leading the effort to design, integrate, and launch the nationwide Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) for North America’s largest wireless telecommunications provider.  The “Picture Messaging” program added incremental revenue for over 1 Million wireless subscribers in the first six months of service.  In addition, Chris designed, developed, deployed, and managed Ericsson Mobile Internet Consulting's Project/Program Management Competence Development Program.

Before his work at Ericsson, Mr. Wright worked at Cingular Wireless where he was a Senior Program Manager for large-scale, cross-functional projects/programs. At Cingular, Chris led the Year 2000 Compliance Program, Short Messaging Service and Digital application systems, Prepaid Billing and PCS system deployment projects among other information technology/engineering-based initiatives.  In addition, Mr. Wright led the development and implementation of the cross-functional Project Management program.

Chris has a Masters degree in Project Management (MPM) from Western Carolina University and a Bachelors of Arts (BA) in Economics and Spanish from Georgia Southern University.  He is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Project Management Institute (PMI)® where he served as the Vice President of Education for the North Carolina chapter of the Project Management Institute (NCPMI).





James (Jim) Swanson, PMP®

Senior Instructor - Project Management
and Business Analysis

James (Jim) R. Swanson is a certified Senior Project Management Professional (PMP)® with over 25 years experience in leading technical and IT-oriented project teams. Jim spent over two decades with HP in various project leadership positions including: IT Infrastructure, Outsourcing, Methodology Trainer and Coach, and Tool/Methodology development. Recently, Jim facilitated
Project Leadership SeriesSM Executive Seminar Session for a global biotechnology firm.

Jim has earned a B.S. in Geology (William & Mary) and a M.S. in Computer Science (Santa Clara) and is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. Jim's favorite hobbies are traveling and playing one of his many guitars.




 Dr. Gary Evans, PMP®
Senior Instructor - Project Management, Business Analysis, and Requirements Management

Dr. Gary Evans is a certified Senior Project Management Professional (PMP)® with nearly 25 years of information technology management and project leadership experience. Dr. Evans' primary expertise is in the areas of: project/program management, project management training and mentoring, project management assessment (OPM3)®, PMO strategy/start-up, organizational change management, and business process analysis and redesign.


Dr. Evans has extensive training, facilitation, and course/seminar development experience to complement his hands-on project leadership endeavors. In addition to being a certified facilitator for Tanden's
Project Leadership SeriesSM, Gary is a Senior Instructor for the North Carolina Project Management Institute chapter's PMP Certification Exam Prep course.

Dr. Evans has a Ph.D., in Pharmacology, a M.A., in Psychology, and a B.S., in Biology and has served as the Vice President of Programs and Strategy for the North Carolina chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.





Atul Peres-da-Silva, PMP®

Senior Instructor - Project Management


Atul Peres-da-Silva is a certified Senior Project Management Professional (PMP)® with over 18 years experience in leading technical and IT-oriented project teams.


Atul is adept at bringing focus, energy, and enthusiasm to the management of projects, personnel, and budgets. Further, Atul has been consistently recognized as "Top Talent" while initiating process improvements and fostering relationships that improve operational efficiency, enhance customer value, and reduce costs. Peres-da-Silva is accomplished in the analysis of complex business and software solutions with expertise and training in Project Management, Work Flow Analysis, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), RUP and SDLC Methodology, Resource Management and Negotiation, and Mentoring, Training, and Recruiting.


Atul has extensive training and facilitation experience to complement his hands-on project leadership endeavors. In addition to being a certified facilitator for Tanden's
Project Leadership SeriesSM, Atul is currently the Executive Vice President and a Senior Instructor for the North Carolina Project Management Institute chapter's PMP® Certification Exam Prep course.

Atul has a Master of Science in Business Management from North Carolina State University and is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.
