NAME Christopher J Wright, CPLP®, MPM, PMP®
POSITION Senior Consultant, Curriculum Designer, Senior Instructor

Christopher (Chris) J Wright is the Founder and President of Tanden, a PMI® Global Registered Education Provider (REP) that specializes in project and event management mentoring, training, and consulting services.
Chris is a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLPTM) from the American Society of Learning and Development (ASTD) and a Project Management Professional (PMP)® with over 20 years of project leadership, mentoring, consulting, and education experience. Mr. Wright’s stated core purpose is to lead through teaching and inspiring others. Chris specializes in organizational strategy – portfolio alignment, project/program/event management, workplace learning design and development, and team meeting and workshop facilitation.
At Tanden, Chris has championed the design, development, and deployment of the Project Leadership SeriesSM, a portfolio of education courses, workshops, and seminars designed to help participants do a better job serving as key project stakeholders. Prior to Tanden, Chris served as a Senior Program Manager and Project Manager in the wireless, IT, and telecommunications industries.
Chris also served as an Adjunct instructor of project management at Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and has a Masters degree in Project Management (MPM) from Western Carolina University. He also served as the Vice President of Education for the North Carolina chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.
In his spare time, Chris is a coach for an elite showcase baseball program, enjoys writing about historical ironies, and serves as the team leader for a Raleigh-based charitable organization, The Bald Entrepreneurs, which has raised over $300,000 for childhood cancer research.

NAME James Swanson, PMP®
POSITION Senior Instructor & Consultant

James (Jim) R. Swanson is a certified Senior Project Management Professional (PMP)® with over 30 years experience in leading technical and IT-oriented project teams.
Jim spent over two decades with HP in various project leadership and business analysis positions including: IT Infrastructure, Outsourcing, Methodology Trainer and Coach, and Tool/Methodology development. Jim is currently on assignment with a global project management and technology training firm and is an experienced project management, requirements development, and business analysis facilitator for Tanden’s Project Leadership SeriesSM.
Jim has earned a B.S. in Geology (William & Mary) and a M.S. in Computer Science (Santa Clara) and is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. Jim’s favorite hobbies are traveling and playing one of his many guitars.

NAME Atul Peres-da-Silva, PMP®
POSITION Senior Instructor & Consultant

Atul Peres-da-Silva is a certified Senior Project Management Professional (PMP)® with nearly 20 years experience in leading technical and IT-oriented project teams.
Atul is adept at bringing focus, energy, and enthusiasm to the management of projects, personnel, and budgets. Further, Atul has been consistently recognized as “Top Talent” while initiating process improvements and fostering relationships that improve operational efficiency, enhance customer value, and reduce costs. Peres-da-Silva is accomplished in the analysis of complex business and software solutions with expertise and training in project management; work flow analysis; customer relationship management (CRM); RUP and SDLC methodologies; resource management and negotiation; communications excellence; change management and focus groups; mentoring, training, and recruiting.
Atul has extensive training and facilitation experience to complement his hands-on project leadership endeavors. In addition to being a certified facilitator for Tanden’s Project Leadership SeriesSM, Atul is a Senior Instructor for the North Carolina Project Management Institute chapter’s PMP® Certification Exam Prep course.
Atul has a Master of Science in Business Management from North Carolina State University and is currently the President for the North Carolina Chapter of the Project Management Institute (NCPMI)®.

NAME Gary Evans, Ph.D., PMP®
POSITION Senior Instructor & Consultant

Dr. Gary Evans is a certified Senior Project Management Professional (PMP)® with over 25 years of information technology management and project leadership experience. Dr. Evans’ primary expertise is in the areas of: project/program management, project management training and mentoring, project management assessment (OPM3)®, PMO strategy/start-up, organizational change management, and business process analysis and redesign.
Dr. Evans has extensive training, facilitation, and course/seminar development experience to complement his hands-on project leadership endeavors. In addition to being a certified facilitator for Tanden’s Project Leadership SeriesSM, Gary is a Senior Instructor for the North Carolina Project Management Institute chapter’s PMP® Certification Exam Prep course.
Dr. Evans has a Ph.D., in Pharmacology, a M.A., in Psychology, and a B.S., in Biology and has served as the Vice President of Programs and Strategy for the North Carolina chapter of the Project Management Institute (NCPMI)®.

NAME Allen Evitts, MA, PMP®
POSITION Senior Instructor & Consultant

Allen Evitts is a certified Senior Project Management Professional (PMP)® with over 15 years of experience in leading technical and IT-oriented project teams. Mr. Evitts specializes in: Persuasion, Interpersonal Communications skills, Coaching, Mentoring, Teaching, Training, Leadership, Cross-Cultural Communications, Problem-solving, Project Management, Risk Analysis and Management, Presentation Skills, Telecommunications, Web Technologies, Issues Management, Communication Theory, Social Media Strategy.
Allen serves as a senior instructor and consultant for Tanden’s Project Leadership SeriesSM curriculum. Recently, Mr. Evitts has served as the lead facilitator for several custom-designed management development initiatives such as “Fact-Based Decision-Making for Senior Managers” at a large global home improvement retail company.
Mr. Evitts is actively involved with the Project Management Institute (PMI)® as a speaker and trainer and possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Religion and Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Communications. In addition to his professional pursuits in the project management and business communications disciplines, Allen also “dabbles” in theatre as he has directed over 50 plays during the course of his nearly 20 years of acting and teaching.
